The first artist that i researched for my self directed project was Paula Bonet.
I really admire her work because she starts with something very simple: people; she pays attention to people in general, how we are and how we feel about things, and she illustrates it using several media, which is other thing that i love about her work because i really like working in different papers and with ink, watercolors, acrylic etc...
